A Soul Haunted by Painting portrays the poignant jouey of Yu-liang, a talented and determined Chinese woman. Undeterred, she leaves Mr. Pan to pursue art in Paris, where she gaers recognition and success, winning an award for a nude self-portrait. Yet, Yu-liang';s life is fraught with struggles, from the disappointment of not bearing a son to the discovery of her past, leading to her retu to Paris where she ultimately achieves a major exhibition of her work.
